WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?

The practice of sound bathing, as the name suggests, is the practice of being deeply immersed in sounds and vibrations that have the power to cleanse and heal. It is a journey of self-discovery through deep relaxation and meditation. Taking a sound bath is taking a holistic approach to relaxation and healing. It can be a perfect escape from the modern stresses of life. A sound bath can cleanse your soul and restore your balance. This stems from the immense power of sound and vibration. Sound has a great influence on our emotions and health and can make us feel happy, energized and relaxed. With her Reiki training and Spiritual Development, Kimberley is able to channel guides and messages for clients. In Kimberley's sound group baths, please bring a yoga mat, a couple of cushions for head and under knees, blanket and water.

With a Private Reiki and Sound session - just bring yourself.

Please note - pregnancy is a personal choice for relaxation with Sound...not enough research has been done. Kimberley suggests only within the second trimester. For heart, brain and spine conditions - please declare and have a conversation. Pace makers and other electrical devices are a no sadly.

ANY TIPS FOR AFTER SOUND BATH SELF CARE?

After Care Guidance for the Sound Bath and Relaxation:

Over the period of the sound bath, immediately after or even in the next few days, your body may experience some changes or “releases”. I mention in the sound bath that snoring, laughing, crying and feeling angry can occur and it can also happen afterwards. Headaches, tiredness and weeing more can also happen and last couple of days as you release and detox. E-motion...energy in motion. Let it wash over you. Don’t hold onto the feelings or physical pain but work with them.

Ask yourself: “I wonder what the root cause is of me feeling this way?”.

Sometimes the experience of sound healing is dramatic, while for other people, the first session in particular may be uneventful, although they feel somehow better (relaxed, lighter) afterward. The most common experience is an almost immediate release of stress and a feeling of deep relaxation.

If you ever have any worries or concerns after a sound bath whether 1:1 or group, I welcome messages and I’m also happy to have a secondary meeting at an energy exchange - often a grounding walk.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SHIBASH?

Shibashi is a form of Tai Chi Qi-Gong that combines flowing movements, breathing techniques, and meditation. Originating in China, it is designed to promote relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. The practice is gentle, making it suitable for individuals of all fitness levels.

  • Safety Guidelines:

    • Ensure you have adequate space to practice Tai Chi Qi-Gong movements safely, free from obstacles.

    • Wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear to prevent slipping.

    • Stay hydrated and take breaks if needed during sessions.

    • If you experience dizziness, pain, or discomfort, stop immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.

    • Follow the instructor’s guidance carefully to avoid strain or injury.

    • Practice in a well-ventilated area to ensure adequate oxygen flow.

    • Move gently and gradually increase intensity as you become more comfortable with the exercises.

    • If practicing outdoors, ensure a stable and even surface to prevent trips or falls.

    • Individuals with pre-existing health conditions should consult a healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise routine.
