The Space
Welcome to Pound Barn, nestled in the charming village of Wickwar, Gloucestershire. Our mission is to create a nurturing space where you can reconnect with your roots, explore your needs, and embrace a healthier lifestyle while meeting like-minded individuals. I am offering four bright and airy twin rooms—Aspen, Beech, Walnut, and Sequoia—each with bathroom access, including two with en-suites. Enjoy all-inclusive meals, drinks, and snacks, along with optional workshops and treatments for a truly rejuvenating retreat experience.
Room prices reflect the options of sharing with someone you know - full room booking OR "Care and Share" -sharing with a likeminded guest.

Collaboration and Partnership
As a self employed wellness practitioner with a focus on nurturing holistic health habits, I am keen and open to collaborate with other South Glos people offering resonating services. From Pilates to Painting, Nutrition to Knowing your Foraged Plants, I work with others to offer more.
Many of those I collaborate with are part of my circle - last page of my website - which can be viewed here.
We make use of the whole of Pound Barn, its gardens and local woodlands, fields and meadows. With options for everyone, there is time to relax and read a book plus opportunities to meet and work with local professionals and experts in their field. All workshops and sessions are optional though for the full Nature's Way experience, they are recommended.

NATURE'S WAY©
My aspiration and purpose is to support people in need of a new direction for their wellness. Holding a safe space for them to take small steps into taking responsibility for their own health. By giving opportunities to try and explore strategies and knowing that there are "different strokes for different folks". My creative mind has developed a Tree of Health, with 10 Branches, to remember and support the practices of a healthy lifestyle.
The NATURE'S WAY© Approach is my acronym to guide me, and you, to health and wellness. Exploring and experimenting with Nature, Air, Togetherness, Understanding, Recreation, Eating, Stillness, Water, Aspirations and YOU.

❓ Retreat FAQs
🌸 Practical Questions
Where is Pound Barn?
Pound Barn is located in Wickwar, Gloucestershire, in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside. It’s easy to reach from Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire towns. The property has four cosy bedrooms, inviting communal spaces, and peaceful gardens with a lake and woodland.
Will I need to switch off from my phone and devices?
Yes — part of the retreat magic is creating space to fully switch off. Phones and devices are not used in shared spaces. You’re welcome to keep them in your room for personal use, or, if you’d like, you can leave your phone safely with Kimberley.
If you have children, older relatives, or responsibilities at home, don’t worry — we’ll ensure you can still be contacted in an emergency. That way you can rest knowing your loved ones are cared for.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many guests join solo. You can book a twin room with our “Care & Share” option and be paired with a like-minded guest, or choose single occupancy if you’d prefer privacy. Couples and friends are, of course, welcome too.
💛 Emotional Questions
I’m a parent— how do I deal with the guilt of leaving my family to come on retreat?
This is such a common feeling. As parents (and carers), we often put everyone else first. But remember: you can’t pour from an empty cup. Like on an aeroplane, you need to put your own oxygen mask on first before helping others.
Taking time away to reset and recharge isn’t selfish — it means you come back calmer, more grounded, and better able to support your family.
💡 Practical tips that help:
-
Talk openly with your partner/family about why this matters.
-
Arrange childcare in advance — playdates, after-school clubs, or friends who can step in.
-
Ask for support — teamwork really does make the dream work.
This weekend is an investment in you. By taking care of yourself, you’re also taking care of those you love.
Is this retreat right for me?
Yes — whether you’re brand new to wellness or already on your journey. Many guests come because they need a reset from stress; others are curious about sound baths, journalling, or nutrition. You don’t need prior experience — just an open heart and the willingness to take time for yourself.
🌿 Retreat Details
What makes the Nature’s Way Retreat different?
Most retreats focus on just one practice, like yoga or meditation. The Nature’s Way© framework, unique to Kimberley, combines Nature, Air, Togetherness, Understanding, Recreation, Eating, Stillness, Water, Aspirations and You. This structure ensures balance — with time for movement, stillness, creativity and reflection.
And with trusted collaborators — yoga teachers, Serenity Clay, massage and reiki practitioners — you’ll experience a community of care, not just one teacher.
Do you need a reset?
That’s exactly what this retreat is for. Through sound baths, yoga, foraging walks, journalling, and nourishing meals, you’ll leave feeling restored and re-energised.
Are you looking to improve your health and wellbeing naturally?
Our retreats blend nutrition, movement, creativity and rest — natural ways to improve wellbeing without pressure or quick fixes.
Curious about holistic alternatives to self-care?
This retreat offers sound baths, clay workshops, breathwork, massage and forest bathing — woven together into a safe, nurturing flow. It's based on Kimberley's own experience of wellness.

-
3 nights’ accommodation (shared twin or ensuite options)
-
All meals, snacks and drinks (vegetarian, seasonal, locally sourced where possible)
-
Daily movement sessions (walks, yoga, pilates, tai chi)
-
Sound baths and guided meditations
